I'm Brandy Gillihan (she/her), LMHC. I'm the creator/founder.
Illuminated Encounters was created in 2024 out of heartbreak for the world's suffering, and a deep desire to dream new worlds into being. Illuminated Encounters aims to address both individual and collective pain by bringing the insight, genius and medicine available in dreams and imaginal states to the world in an embodied, tangible way.
It is the culmination of a multi-year certification process in Dream Tending & Deep Imagination by the world-renowned depth psychologist, Dr. Stephen Aizenstat, ongoing education & self-exploration of my own inner landscapes, and my decade working as a psychotherapist.
The Mission: To follow the path illuminated by Dream and Imagination, building relationships with the figures themselves.
My small role is simply to shine a light on where Dream would have clients go. Dream leads, we follow. And in following the path, the path reveals itself.
The Vision: To dream new worlds into being, through the creative embodiment of Dreams and Imagination.

Hi, I'm Brandy.
I'm the creator/founder of Illuminated Encounters, and I'm also a Dream Tender. Illuminated Encounters grew out of my experience & training as a psychotherapist, and as a student of the imaginal arts (some might call it mysticism), and my deep care for the planet and its inhabitants.
